Muffin Recipe

Ingredients:

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted and cooled
- 1 cup buttermilk, room temperature
- 2 large eggs, room temperature
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 ½ cups mix-ins (blueberries, chocolate chips, nuts, etc.)

Directions:

Preheat and Prep: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Prepare a muffin tin by lining it with paper liners or greasing the cups.
Mix Dry Ingredients: Whisk together the baking powder, sugar, flour, salt, and baking soda in a large bowl.
Combine Wet Ingredients: In another bowl, whisk together the melted butter, buttermilk, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Combine Mixtures: Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients and stir until just mixed. Avoid overmixing; it's fine if there are a few lumps.
Add Mix-Ins: Gently fold in your choice of mix-ins, such as fresh berries, chocolate chips, or nuts.
Fill Muffin Cups: Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups, filling each about ¾ full.
